      The Senior Manager/Associate Director, Program & Alliance Management will successfully partner with the Program Leader (PL) in implementing the overall program strategy from IND to clinical development and regulatory approvals. The candidate along with the PL will be responsible for creating and maintaining an integrated development plan that will be used to identify interdependencies, assess risks, and enable program team decision making and alignment. The individual will also serve as alliance manager for one or more existing collaborations and work closely with program teams to maintain successful partnerships. This role is highly cross-functional and will involve collaboration with external and internal partners. 



      • Provide program management and operational leadership to cross functional developmental teams to drive and deliver results toward shared goals
      • Manage all aspects of drug development collaborations with alliance partners including inter and intra- company communications, scheduling and running JSCs and JDCs and maintaining compliance with contractual terms between partners
      • Develop and maintain integrated program level timeline tracking which includes key cross-functional deliverables. Lead, along with PL, risk management and mitigation planning that may impact program timelines
      • Drive program team goal setting and track overall progress
      • Ensure effective communication within the program teams and to key internal and external stakeholders. This includes facilitating team meetings, providing regular timeline status reports, creating agendas/minutes, and ensuring accountability for action items
      • Collaborate with finance in defining budget and aligning on Long Range Plan (LRP) models
      • Build strong relationships with team members to create an environment of mutual respect, trust, and delivery of exceptional results
      • Recommend and support stage-appropriate program management tools and processes as the portfolio evolves.



      • BS/MS in related scientific discipline
      • 6+ years in a business development, project management or alliance management function
      • Previous participation in a successful therapeutic program from IND submission through clinical development
      • Knowledge of oncology or cancer immunotherapy drug development process preferred
      • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and ability to work with internal and external teams
      • Strong presentation skills to audiences of all levels and technical abilities
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills with close attention to detail
      • Well-organized and able to support multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
      • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in the planning and execution of collaborative projects.
